Since their inception, the TOFTigers Wildlife Tourism Awards have played a vital role in promoting responsible tourism within the travel industry. These awards recognize individuals and organizations that not only enhance tourist experiences but also contribute significantly to wildlife conservation and community well-being. The awards honor pioneers who bring about change by supporting conservation, engaging local communities, and restoring natural habitats.
The 2024 awards will cover a wide array of categories, celebrating excellence in park management, naturalist guides, travel businesses, environmental advocacy, wildlife photography, filmmaking, and community-driven initiatives across India and Nepal.
There are thirteen categories of awards:
- The John Wakefield Memorial Award for Eco Lodge of the Year 2024.

- FOOTPRINT Eco Lodge
- Rising Star Eco Lodge )
- The Billy Arjan Singh Memorial Award for Best Wildlife Guide of the Year 2024
(Awards will be presented in four regional categories, representing the North, South, East, and West regions of India.)
- Wildlife Promotion Company of the Year 2024
- Wildlife Tourism Community Initiative of the Year 2024
- Wildlife and Tourism Initiative of the Year 2024
- International Wildlife Tour Operator of the Year 2024
- Wildlife Conservation Photography Award 2024
- Wildlife Conservation Documentary Award 2024
- Lodge Naturalist of the Year 2024
- Wildlife Harmony Homestay Awards(open to non- TOFT lodges as well)
- Kailash Sankhala Visitor Friendly Wildlife National Park of the year 2024
- Sanctuary Asia Award for “ Best State for Sustainable Wildlife Tourism” 2024
- Climate Guardian Award 2024
