With over 13 years of experience across leading hospitality brands including Marriott, Hyatt, Accor, IHG, and RDH Hotels, Arya brings a wealth of expertise in financial management and operational excellence. In his previous role as Assistant Director of Finance at Hyatt Regency Gurgaon, Arya led the finance team and played a key role in driving the property’s overall financial performance. His earlier stints with Marriott and IHG in cluster roles further strengthened his proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and control systems, contributing to greater efficiency and alignment across operations.
At The Westin Resort & Spa Himalayas, Mr. Arya will oversee the property’s financial strategy, compliance, and performance management, ensuring alignment with Marriott International’s standards and the hotel’s long-term objectives. His focus will remain on streamlining processes, strengthening governance, and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration. Arya describes his leadership style as supportive and transparent, with a focus on adaptability.
He believes in cultivating a workplace that encourages purpose, growth, and recognition. Guided by his professional philosophy of “focus on priorities, clarity and alignment, efficiency and impact,” he aims to bring clarity and consistency to his role.
