In a recent development and under one of the many efforts undertaken to strengthen the Indo-Thai relations, the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi recently organised an event to celebrate 75 years of Indo-Thai diplomatic relationship. Titled “75th Anniversary: Weaving Indo-Thai Friendship” on June 29, 2022 afternoon at the Royal Thai Embassy, the event was focused on presenting Thai textile and craft while emphasizing on the strong social & cultural links between India and Thailand. Thai silk, woven fabric and traditional dresses from different regions of Thailand were displayed for the guests to see. This was followed by a traditional Thai high tea.
