Hotel ‘The Ashok’, a flagship property of India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) was awarded the ‘Best Hotel Based Meeting Venue’ at the National Tourism Awards for the year 2017-18 held recently at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
The award was handed over by Hon’ble Union Minister for Tourism & Culture, Shri Prahlad Singh Patel and Mr. Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary-General, World Tourism Organization (UNWTO)to Shri Piyush Tiwari, C&MD, ITDC and Mr. Vijay Dutt, General Manager, The Ashok, ITDC.
Expressing gratitude on the occasion, Mr. Vijay Dutt said, “The Ashok is one of city’s luxurious heritage property and we are both immensely excited and humbled to have won this award for the 4th consecutive year. This award speaks for the entire team – it’s truly an honour to be recognized for our hard work and dedication to service excellence.”
