Sharing her views on the new development, Jyoti Mayal, President, TAAI and Vice Chairperson FAITH, said, “TAAI has been continuously recommending to the government, MOT & specially MOCA to make RTPCR testing mandatory for all departures & arrivals at the airports for international travel to generate & motivate safe travel. This regulation would be the first step to remove quarantine . We are happy to know that MoCA has heard our request & recommended the same to Ministry of Health. We are also requesting MOCA to make these tests free at the airports to stimulate growth in travel. TAAI looks forward to working with MOT & MOCA to bring more ease in travel for its members & traveler & to be able to generate tourism & build a stronger economy.”
