Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) successfully concluded its India Roadshow, held from August 3 to 7, 2026, reaffirming its commitment to one of its fastest-growing source markets through a series of sales engagements and media events across Delhi and Mumbai.
The roadshow was led by Mark Wong, Senior Vice President – Asia Pacific, SLH, alongside a delegation of member hotel representatives: Danat Thanoosilp, Director of Sales & Marketing, The Sukhothai Bangkok, Thailand; Charintip Tiyaphorn, Owner, Pimalai Resort and Spa, Thailand; Andrés Páez, Business Developer, Hermes Galapagos Catamaran, Ecuador; and Gloria Robuschi, Sales Manager, Grand Hotel Bristol Spa Resort, Italy.
Across dedicated sales meetings in both cities, the delegation connected with 45 key travel trade partners, sharing property updates, exchanging market insights, and strengthening relationships with the Indian travel trade.
SLH also hosted media events in Delhi on 4 August and Mumbai on 6 August, bringing together 30 leading travel, luxury and lifestyle journalists for direct conversations with SLH and the visiting hotel representatives. They were given an early look at the brand’s recent developments, including the latest destinations and openings. French beauty brand, L’Occitane came on board as an event partner and extended a calming wellness session to the participants setting the tone for the afternoon to follow.
India remains one of SLH’s fastest-growing markets, with the portfolio expanding to 12 over the past year, including recent additions such as Rhino & River Wildlife Retreat & Spa in Assam, Dolkhar Ladakh and Lchang Nang Retreat — the brand’s first two hotels in Ladakh — and Dharana at Shillim near Pune, which was also recently the first hotel in India to be added in the SLH Wellbeing Collection. The growth reflects rising demand among Indian travellers for authentic, boutique and experience-led stays.
