The award recognises Skal Delhi’s efforts to contribute to society beyond the tourism and hospitality sector, with a strong focus on initiatives that create tangible and lasting benefits for underprivileged communities.
Over the past year, Skal Delhi has undertaken several impactful CSR programmes, including distribution of prosthetic limbs to persons in need, tree plantation drives and support for the education of underprivileged children. These initiatives reflect the Club’s commitment to the Skal motto of “Doing Business Among Friends”, while extending the spirit of friendship and fellowship to the wider community.
Speaking on the occasion, Skal International Delhi President said, “This award is a recognition of the collective efforts of our members who have consistently supported initiatives that make a genuine difference in people’s lives. For Skal Delhi, CSR is not merely an activity but a responsibility towards the community in which we live and work.”
The Club has particularly focused on projects where members can directly witness the impact of their contributions. The prosthetic limb distribution initiative, for instance, has helped beneficiaries regain mobility, independence and confidence, while the tree plantation and educational support programmes address longer-term environmental and social needs.
The award also acknowledges the active participation and generosity of Skal Delhi members, whose contributions have enabled the Club to expand its CSR activities and reach more beneficiaries.
Skal International Delhi remains committed to strengthening its CSR programme and undertaking more initiatives in the areas of healthcare, education, environmental sustainability and community empowerment.
