The Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) is the only Business Events association dedicated exclusively to the global incentive travel industry. The SITE India Chapter was launched in December 2013 with an initial membership of 23 members. There were some members of SITE in India, in the preceding years, but we were always short of the minimum requirement for a Chapter of our own. In fact, our oldest membership dates back to 1996 and the early members had the desire to bring a major Incentive Conference to India and SITE provided the right platform. Once the SITE India chapter was established, plans were put in place to host the SITE Global Conference and in October 2015, this dream was achieved with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and the entire industry. The SITE Global Conference 2015 in New Delhi was undoubtedly a huge success. We had a record participation of 255 delegates & 29 guests. Almost 100 international delegates took advantage of the visit and went on the pre & post tours and many SITE members worldwide still say that this was one of the best Global Conferences ever.
