The SITE India Incentive Workshop was held on November 4th, 2025, at the Jio World Convention Centre with Dubai Business Events as the Destination Partner and Minor Hotels as the Hotel Partner. SITE India Chapter’s inaugural event in Mumbai witnessed robust participation from key members of the travel trade, including airlines, tourism boards, MICE, and leisure travellers. The event brought leaders from the Global Incentive Travel Ecosystem- including planners, intermediaries, suppliers, and destinations. The objective of the event was to introduce them to SITE’s mission, concept of Incentive Travel, and to spotlight India’s MICE and tourism potential.

Founded in 1973 and headquartered in New York, SITE has over 3,600 members worldwide and 25 active members in India. It is a forum that works closely with Incentive Travel. The Keynote Speaker, Sabbas Joseph, Co-Founder, Wizcraft Entertainment Group, spoke eloquently about India’s triple travel bloom – MICE, weddings, and sports events. Highlighting India’s exponentially growing tourism potential, he spoke about how ‘Meet in India’ triggers a world of opportunities, with India having over 1300 star category hotels, 70 plus convention centres, and a MICE tourism CAGR of 8.2%. Addressing the attendees as ‘Memory engineers, Emotion architects and experience curators’, he urged them to drive differentiation through sustainability, women empowerment, and building local communities.
