Yoga expert Shri Gopal Rishi and his team conducted a practical Yoga session, demonstrating various postures and explaining the significance of Yoga practices. The event saw enthusiastic participation from stakeholders in the travel trade and tourism industry, students from Yuva Tourism Clubs, specially-abled children, officials from the Ministry of Tourism, and local residents.
Simultaneously, Yoga sessions were held at several prominent tourist destinations in the Northern Region. These included Agra, Varanasi, and Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh; Jaipur and Jodhpur in Rajasthan; Chamkaur Sahib in Punjab; the Forest Research Institute and Doon Sanskriti School (Tribal) in Dehradun, Uttarakhand; Chandigarh; Shimla in Himachal Pradesh; and Srinagar in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
The widespread participation and successful organization of these events underscore the universal appeal of Yoga and its importance in fostering holistic health and well-being.
