Serena Hotels, in partnership with Safari Trails and its official India representative, The Ark Travel Group, successfully hosted 12 leading Indian leisure travel agents on a Familiarisation (FAM) Trip. Safari Trails supported the programme with seamless ground transportation across the circuit.
The multi-destination trip focused on Kenya’s Northern Circuit, Rift Valley Circuit and the Mara Triangle — routes well suited to Indian leisure travellers seeking safari-led journeys that combine wildlife, scenic landscapes and diverse experiences, aligned with growing demand for well-paced itineraries and shorter travel times.
The delegation included representatives from leading Indian leisure travel companies, including Pawansut Travel, Revel Travels, Holiday Tripster, Offbeat Planner, AA Travel Zone, INAQ Travel, Aarvee Holidays, Hasmukh Travel, Global Holidays, Jineshwar Tours, Travel Mark and One Rise Vacations, reflecting strong trade interest from one of Serena Hotels’ key international source markets.
During the five-day programme, the agents experienced a curated journey across Nairobi Serena Hotel, Lake Elmenteita Serena Camp, Sweetwaters Serena Camp and Mara Serena Safari Lodge. The itinerary demonstrated how these properties connect seamlessly, enabling agents to confidently package multi-destination Kenya itineraries for families, couples and premium leisure travellers.
By immersing leisure-focused travel partners in the end-to-end guest journey, the initiative reinforced Serena Hotels’ long-term commitment to the Indian market and its continued investment in trade education, on-ground representation, and collaborative market development.
