He began his career in 2004 as a Senior Guest Service Supervisor, progressing to a Head of Department (HOD) role in 2009, and by 2013, he had taken on the responsibilities of an Executive Committee Member. A defining moment in his career came in 2018 when he was promoted to General Manager of an upscale property. With an extensive background in upscale hospitality from his last assignment at Courtyard by Marriott Faridabad- Aravalli Resort, Rajneesh Kumar has held leadership positions across renowned international hotel brands over a span of close to two decades. His expertise in operational excellence, revenue management, and guest experience innovation aligns seamlessly with Novotel Kolkata’s commitment to offering authentic hospitality with a contemporary touch.

In his new assignment, Rajneesh Kumar will lead Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences into its next phase of growth, further strengthening its position as a preferred destination for business, leisure, weddings, and culinary experiences. The hotel, known for its 340 well-appointed rooms, expansive 30,000 sq. ft. of banqueting space, and diverse food & beverage offerings, has continually evolved over the past decade to offer seamless, personalized hospitality.
