Radisson Blu Plaza, Delhi recently celebrated the “Loi Krathong” festival in a grand manner and to bring on the festivities, the hotel and Thailand Tourism of India jointly organized a celebratory evening to mark Loi Krathong.
Gracing the occasion with his presence was honourable chief guest, H.E Mr. Chutintorn Gongsakdi, Thai Ambassador to India. The evening was inaugurated by a beautiful cultural performance put together by a team of dancers and musicians flown in from Chiang Mai, Northern region of Thailand followed by a special Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) performance. The performances ended with a decorated long drum procession where Miss Loi Krathong was carried on a palanquin to the pool site where she invited the guests to release the candle lit krathongs.
