Preferred Hotels & Resorts welcomes 25 new member hotels

Preferred Hotels & Resorts – the world’s largest independent hotel brand representing more than 750 distinctive hotels, resorts, and residences across 85 countries –is pleased to announce the addition of 25 new member hotels to its global portfolio between January 1 to March 31,2019. From iconic heritage buildings in the cosmopolitan cities of Sydney and London to contemporary beachfront luxury in New Jersey, these exciting new properties deliver authentic, one-of-a-kind experiences that embody the spirit of independent travel and capture the essence of #ThePreferredLife.

New member highlights include:

The Fullerton Hotel Sydney(Sydney, Australia)
Situated in the heart of Sydney’s Central Business District on Martin Place, The Fullerton Hotel Sydney resides in the city’s landmark Victorian-era General Post Office building. Set to launch in October, the luxury hotel will feature 416 elegant guestrooms and suites, replete with carefully curated art pieces. Guests will be able to enjoy heritage walking tours that reveal the building’s origins and its connection to the history and culture of the surrounding area. Visitors will also benefit from the hotel’s location to partake in memorable activities such as an exhilarating ascent on the Harbour Bridge Climb for 360-degree panoramas, a show at the Sydney Opera House or zipping through the city on a motorcycle sidecar tour.

The Hotel Kitano Tokyo (Tokyo, Japan)
One of the rare luxury boutique hotels in Japan, The Kitano Hotel Tokyo is an intimate family-owned property that embodies the Japanese spirit of “wa” (harmony) through its 72 thoughtfully appointed guestrooms and refined service style. Recently re-opened after an extensive refurbishment, the hotel now houses two restaurants including the three-Michelin Star Sant Pau, a rooftop bar with panoramic skyline views, and the Tea Lounge which will offer Japanese matcha (green tea) services.
