The Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI) has officially announced its 6th Annual Convention, set to take place in the iconic city of Moscow from July 10 to 13, 2025. The announcement was made at a special press conference in New Delhi attended by members of the travel fraternity and media.
The convention, which aims to further strengthen the India-Russia tourism partnership, will be hosted at the luxurious Carlton Hotel, formerly the Ritz Carlton. The convention will be followed by a post-event familiarization (FAM) trip to the cultural capital of Russia, St. Petersburg.
Himanshu Patil, President, OTOAI, said, “This convention will help boost mutual tourism in a big way. Let’s together take the India-Russia tourism partnership to the next level.” He also addressed concerns over safety, stating, “I’ve visited Russia twice recently and found it to be absolutely safe and extremely welcoming. The simplification of the visa process for Indian travellers is a clear indication of Russia’s commitment to promoting tourism ties with India.”
Shravan Bhalla, Vice President of OTOAI and Convention Chairman, added, “OTOAI has always hosted its conventions in unique destinations, and Moscow is yet another out-of-the-box location. This will be a truly memorable experience for all our delegates.” He is supported in organizing the event by Mrs. Monia Kapoor, Joint Secretary, OTOAI, who serves as Co-Convention Chairperson.
The convention package starts at INR 79,999 and includes a 3-night stay in Moscow and 3 nights in St. Petersburg. The all-inclusive pricing covers meals, gala dinners, sightseeing, intercity train transfers, local taxes, and more. Air travel, facilitated by Aeroflot, the official host airline, will be available as part of the package.
Delegates can look forward to a dynamic mix of business sessions, destination presentations, B2B meetings, city tours, and ample networking opportunities. Lucky draws will also be held during the convention, with exciting prizes such as hotel stays, iPads, Apple AirTags, laptops, iPhones, and even airline tickets for couples.
Registrations for the convention will be opening soon, and OTOAI invites all its members to be a part of this prestigious event aimed at redefining outbound tourism partnerships between India and Russia.
