Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, the recently appointed Civil Aviation Minister, has decided to tackle the issue of rising air ticket prices. Under current regulations, air fares are deregulated, with airlines required to set reasonable tariffs and provide transparent information on fare structures. While airlines must adhere to sector-wise fare disclosures on their websites, fares within a specified range are deemed compliant with existing rules.
