Madhya Pradesh joins the list of states who are gradually opening up their tourist offerings to public. The state tourism department has recently announced the opening up of its State Tourism Development Corporation run-hotels, resorts and private hotels. In addition to his, the state’s national parks are also opening today. The state of Madhya Pradesh has rich and varied wildlife options with 11 national parks and 24 wildlife sanctuaries such as Ratapani Wildlife Sanctuary and National Chambal Sanctuary.
Sanitisation and fumigation of the tourist spots have been undertaken at all touristy joints. The tourism board clarified that all health, hygiene and safety guidelines have been implemented as per SOP issued by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
