The 35th IATO Annual Convention is being held in Kolkata from September 12 – 15, 2019. West Bengal will be the host state of the event. Mr. Pronab Sarkar will be the Chairman of the convention along with Mr. Rajnish Kaistha and Mr. Debjit Dutta as the Co-Chairmen.
The venue of the convention is “ITC Royal Bengal, Kolkata” which is a brand new property. Inaugural function of the convention will be held at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre Kolkata on September 12, 2019 and all business sessions and other functions will be held at ITC Royal Bengal Kolkata.
IATO’s last convention in Kolkata was held in 2002 and it will be an opportunity for most of its members to visit the ‘City of Joy’ after 17 years wherein they will get to see lot of development and new tourism products that have come up in West Bengal.
Theme of the convention and the topics for the business session are being finalized.
The inauguration will be in the evening of the 12th September 2019 and the last session ends on the 14th September 2019 followed by closing dinner.
