During the meeting, the Hon’ble Tourism Minister was very receptive and expressed a keen interest in understanding the reasons behind the decline in international tourist arrivals. He assured the delegation of full support from the Ministry of Tourism to help boost inbound tourism to India.
The IATO delegation is scheduled for another meeting with the Hon’ble Tourism Minister to delve deeper into the challenges the tourism industry faces, specifically regarding inbound tourism. They plan to share detailed insights and propose ideas on how the Ministry of Tourism and other relevant Ministries can support and enhance the sector.
IATO is confident that under the dynamic leadership of the new Tourism Minister, inbound tourism to India will flourish. The organization believes that with the Minister’s support, there will be a significant increase in international tourist arrivals, aligning with the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister to attract maximum foreign tourists to India. IATO has pledged its full support to the Government and the Ministry of Tourism in achieving this goal.
