The announcement was made by Mr. Rajiv Mehra, General Secretary of FAITH, who confirmed that AIRDA, earlier associated with FAITH as a Cause Partner—has been inducted as a full Board Member with effect from 1st November 2025. With this inclusion, FAITH’s collective now grows to eleven member associations, further strengthening its pan-India representation and industry influence.
FAITH also announced that Mr. Vikram Lalvani, Chairman of AIRDA, will represent the association on the FAITH Board. His vast experience in resort development and hospitality is expected to bring valuable insights and fresh perspectives to the federation’s ongoing efforts.
Welcoming AIRDA, FAITH stated that the collaboration marks a new chapter of synergy and industry alignment. The federation looks forward to AIRDA’s proactive contributions as the tourism, travel, and hospitality sectors work together toward shared goals—policy advocacy, sustainable growth, and the enhancement of India’s tourism ecosystem.
