A seasoned professional with over three decades of service to TICA, Tantiprasertsuk steps into the role following her successful tenure as Vice President of the association. Her elevation underscores both her long-standing contributions to Thailand’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector and Dusit International’s commitment to fostering industry excellence and leadership.
Established in 1984, TICA is a non-profit organisation dedicated to positioning Thailand as a preferred MICE destination on the global stage. As President, Tantiprasertsuk aims to drive sustainable growth and strengthen collaboration across public and private sectors while maintaining Thailand’s global competitiveness in the MICE landscape.
“I feel incredibly honoured to step up from Vice President of TICA and take on the President role,” said Tantiprasertsuk. “At Dusit, I’ve always been proud to represent a Thai brand globally. As TICA President, I now look forward to further showcasing Thailand as a world-class destination for international MICE events.”
Drawing inspiration from Dusit’s four key pillars—Gracious Service, Locality, Well-Being, and Sustainability Tantiprasertsuk plans to integrate these values into TICA’s national strategy. Her leadership will focus on transparent governance, professional development, and empowering future leaders in the MICE sector.
She succeeds Sumate Sudasna Ayutthaya, who led the association with distinction for 16 years. Ms. Tantiprasertsuk praised his visionary leadership and pledged to build on his legacy of excellence.
Her appointment adds to a growing list of Dusit executives contributing meaningfully to the broader hospitality and tourism ecosystem. Notably, Chanin Donavanik, Vice Chairman of Dusit International, and Ms. Suphajee Suthumpun, Group CEO, continue to serve on prominent boards and advisory committees across the region, shaping responsible tourism and hospitality education.
Dusit International also leads through its education arm, including Dusit Thani College, Le Cordon Bleu Dusit Culinary School, and The Food School, playing a vital role in training the next generation of global hospitality leaders.
“As President of TICA, Tantiprasertsuk will be a powerful voice for Thai hospitality and tourism,” said Suphajee Suthumpun. “Her appointment reflects Dusit’s ethos of industry collaboration, innovation, and sustainable leadership.”
With this new leadership at the helm, TICA is set to embark on a promising new chapter in promoting Thailand as a premier global MICE destination.
