StarCruises’ Star Voyager makes maiden call in Xiamen
StarCruises celebrated the maiden arrival of Star Voyager in Xiamen, marking a milestone for the city’s cruise tourism. To boost inbound traffic, the cruise line announced additional weekend sailings from Hong Kong every Friday until November 14, 2025, arriving in Xiamen each Saturday. The event was graced by Xiamen Port Authority’s Director General Ren Guoyan, Xiamen International Cruise Home Port Group Chairman Chen Chunhui, StarDream Cruises President Michael Goh, Captain Erik Dalhberg, and other dignitaries.
Atmosphere Core enters Odisha with new resort
Atmosphere Core, in partnership with Pratyaksh Estates, will launch Pratyaksh – An Atmosphere Experience Chandragiri in southern Odisha by late 2027. Located amidst the Eastern Ghats near Jirang Monastery, the 90-key luxury resort will feature cottages, villas, and tents with panoramic views. Highlights include diverse dining, an in-house bakery, ELE|NA Ayur Spa, yoga decks, curated leisure activities, and event facilities, making it an ideal choice for wellness, nature getaways, weddings, and corporate gatherings.
Calder Gardens opens in Philadelphia
Calder Gardens, a cultural destination dedicated to Alexander Calder, opened to the public on September 21, 2025, on Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia. The 1.8-acre site, designed by Herzog & de Meuron with landscapes by Piet Oudolf, blends art, architecture, and nature. Visitors will experience evolving displays of Calder’s rarely seen works. A free parade, Chaos and Kisses, will mark the milestone opening.
