UP Tourism to enhance eco-tourism opportunities at Udhaila Lake, Ayodhya
Ayodhya is set to become a hub for ecotourism, drawing visitors from across the globe. The state Eco-Tourism Development Board has initiated a development project to enhance tourist facilities around Udhaila Lake in Milkipur, with a budget allocation of nearly Rs 4 crore. This was announced by state Minister Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh.
Uttarakhand launches Mount Kailash pilgrimage from India
Uttarakhand Tourism has launched the “Mount Kailash Darshan from Indian Soil” pilgrimage, allowing devotees to view the sacred Mount Kailash from the Old Lipulekh Peak in Pithoragarh district. The journey also includes a visit to Om Parvat. The first group of pilgrims embarked on October 2 and 3 and experienced the majestic sight of Mount Kailash from Old Lipulekh Peak.
