Air India Express adds Jammu and Sri Vijaya Puram to its network
Air India Express has announced the addition of two new stations—Jammu and Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair)—marking another milestone in the airline’s rapidly growing domestic network. Starting December 1, 2024, Jammu will have direct flights to Delhi and Srinagar. On the same day, Air India Express will start direct flights from Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair) to Bengaluru and Kolkata.
SriLankan Airlines launches daytime flight from Bangalore to Colombo
SriLankan Airlines is scheduled to launch a new daytime flight between Bangalore and Colombo starting October 31, 2024, bringing the total weekly operations between the two cities to 10 flights. The new flight timings are ideal for both Indian holidaymakers and business event attendees travelling to Sri Lanka for short weekend escapes.
