
IndiGo to spread Delhi ops across all Terminals
IndiGo will distribute its Delhi operations across Terminals 1, 2, and 3 starting October 26, 2025. Flights numbered 6E 2000–2999 will operate from Terminal 2, flights 6E 5000–5999 and all international departures from Terminal 3, while all other domestic flights continue from Terminal 1. The move aims to enhance passenger convenience and airport efficiency. Passengers are advised to check terminal details on IndiGo’s website or mobile app before travel.
China Eastern Airlines to resume Shanghai–Delhi flights from November 9
China Eastern Airlines (MU) will resume direct flights between Shanghai Pudong and Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport from November 9, 2025, after a five-year gap. The service will operate thrice weekly using a wide-body aircraft, restoring a vital link between China and India. The route’s reopening signals improving ties and growing travel demand between the two nations. Tickets are now available on the airline’s website and online travel platforms.
Kamat Hotels expands IRA by Orchid brand to Dwarka and Goa
Kamat Hotels (India) has expanded its eco-luxury brand, IRA by Orchid, with new openings in Dwarka, Gujarat, and Porvorim, Goa. Together adding 93 rooms under management contracts, the properties strengthen KHIL’s footprint across India’s spiritual and leisure circuits. IRA by Orchid Dwarka, located near Dwarkadhish Temple, offers serene stays with eco-conscious amenities, banqueting spaces, and multi-cuisine dining.
Star Air launches daily Bengaluru–Hampi flight from November 1
Star Air has announced daily flights between Bengaluru and Hampi via Vidyanagar (JSW) Airport starting November 1, 2025. The service will boost tourism and business in the Ballari and Vijayanagara districts, with JSW Airport reopening after a month-long suspension. The flight departs Bengaluru at 7:50 am and returns by 10 am. This new connection will make it easier for travellers to access the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hampi and nearby attractions.
