Germany records 85% growth in Indian visitors
Tourism from India to Germany is developing well with a recovery of 496 percent in the period from January – August 2023 compared to January – August 2021. Although the overall figures are still 15 per cent below the pre-pandemic level of 2019, an increase of 85 per cent from 2022 is clear evidence of the country’s enduring appeal.India has established itself as one of the most important and potential Asian markets for inbound tourism to Germany.

SriLankan Airlines advances their passenger services at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) with the introduction of self-service check-in and selfbag-drop services. The new self-service kiosks aim to minimize waiting times during peak periods, allowing passengers to seamlessly navigate through the check-in process and swiftly proceed to Emigration.
Vistara inaugurates direct Mumbai – Frankfurt flight
Vistara has inaugurated non-stop, 6x weekly flights between Mumbai and Frankfurt. The inaugural flight, operated on Vistara’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, commenced from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai at 13:00 Hours (IST) on 15 November 2023 and arrived at Frankfurt International Airport at 17:30 Hours (GMT). Vistara has already been flying 6x weekly between Frankfurt and Delhi.
