Rajesh Kumar IAS appointed as Director General, UP Tourism
Rajesh Kumar, IAS (UP cadre, 2004 batch), has been appointed Director General, Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh. He previously served as Commissioner, Food Safety & Drug Administration. Mukesh Kumar Meshram, IAS, will now focus on his role as Principal Secretary, Tourism. As Director General, Rajesh Kumar will oversee operations and drive initiatives to enhance the state’s tourism sector, bringing renewed momentum to Uttar Pradesh’s positioning as a leading domestic and global destination.
