Jamaica nearing 5 million visitors and US$5 Billion
Minister of Tourism, Hon Edmund Bartlett has highlighted that the destination is poised to achieve a historic milestone of welcoming nearly 5 million visitors and generating approximately US$5 billion in tourism earnings, marking a remarkable recovery despite facing significant challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic and the devastating passage of Hurricane Beryl. The tourism sector’s performance has generated substantial economic benefits across Jamaica.
