India emerges as Moscow’s second-largest source market for tourists in 2025
Moscow welcomed 408 thousands tourists from India during the first half of the 2025, which is a 40% increase compared to the same period last year. India has become the second-largest country among non-CIS countries by tourist arrivals. Overall, more than half a million travelers from outside CIS countries visited Moscow between January and June 2025 — a 10% increase compared to the same period in 2024. This upward trend is also seen in hotel statistics.
Emirates Group hits new half-year profit record for 2025-26
The Emirates Group has announced a new record half-year financial performance, posting a profit before tax of AED 12.2 billion (US$ 3.3 billion) for the first six months of 2025-26, making this the fourth consecutive year of record profitability for the half-year reporting period. After accounting for income tax charges, the Group’s profit after tax is AED 10.6 billion (US$ 2.9 billion), up 13% from last year. Group revenue was AED 75.4 billion (US$ 20.6 billion) for the first six months of 2025-26.
