Air India commences twice daily services to Ludhiana (Halwara)
Air India today commenced operations to Ludhiana (Halwara), becoming the first airline to operate commercial services to the newly operational airport, connecting Ludhiana to Delhi and beyond to destinations around the world. The inaugural flight from Delhi landed at Ludhiana’s Halwara airport at 0703 Hrs today, and the return flight from Ludhiana departed at 0800 Hrs. Air India will operate two daily flights between Delhi and Ludhiana using its A320 family aircraft.
VFS Global Foundation opens skill centre in Mumbai
VFS Global Foundation has opened its first skills training centre in Mumbai and sixth in India, with VFS Global Academy as knowledge partner. The centre aims to equip youth from underserved communities with vocational skills for careers in travel, tourism and retail. Its first batch comprises 30 students enrolled in a one-month Certificate Programme for Retail Associates. The centre was inaugurated by senior officials from VFS Global, Sambhav Foundation and CII.
