UP grants Industrial Status to Hotels
The Hotel Association of India has announced that the Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha has passed a resolution granting industrial status to hotels, aligning with Rajasthan’s tourism policy. This move is expected to boost investment, reduce operational costs, and accelerate growth in the hospitality sector. Given UP’s focus on tourism expansion—especially post the Prayagraj Kumbh, Ayodhya development, and the Bundelkhand Expressway opening—this could be a game-changer for the state’s hospitality industry.
Oceania Cruises’ Riviera to debut in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific
Oceania Cruises is preparing its luxurious 1,250-guest ship Riviera to sail its first-ever Australia and New Zealand season of voyages. Riviera will be the only Oceania Cruises vessel in the region to offer exclusive itineraries with a gourmet foodie focus. The 2026 Australia and New Zealand season will run from November 2025 to March 2026, featuring a diverse selection of itineraries ranging from 14 to 35 days, with departures from multiple ports across the region.
