Etihad and Ethiopian Airlines launch codeshare partnership
Etihad Airways and Ethiopian Airlines have activated a strategic codeshare agreement to enhance connectivity between Africa, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. Ethiopian Airlines will begin flights from Addis Ababa to Abu Dhabi on 15 July, while Etihad starts daily flights to Addis Ababa on 8 October. This is the first step toward a broader joint venture, offering passengers seamless booking, check-in, and baggage transfers across both networks.

With nearly 30 years of experience in hospitality and hotel business development, Cyrus brings strategic insights and strong industry expertise. He has worked with brands like Lemon Tree Hotels, Atmosphere Hospitality, and Taj. A Welcomgroup graduate, Cyrus will play a key role in driving Accor’s expansion and strengthening client relationships across the South Asian market.
