Vietjet Thailand expands India network with two new routes
Vietjet Thailand is set to launch two new direct routes from Kolkata and Ahmedabad to Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi Airport), starting November 17, 2025. These mark the airline’s 3rd and 4th direct connections between India and Thailand, reinforcing its regional growth strategy. The Kolkata-Bangkok service will operate four times weekly, offering greater convenience for travellers and boosting tourism and business ties. Flight timings are optimized for seamless connectivity.

IndiGo has announced a network-wide ‘Happy IndiGo Day Sale’, as it marks the completion of 19 years of operations. Valid for travel from 10 August 2025 to 31 March 2026, bookings are open starting 0001 hours on 03 August 2025 until 2359 hours on 06 August 2025. This special sale is IndiGo’s way of celebrating the occasion with its customers, while expressing gratitude for their continued support over the years.
PMPML launches AC Tourist Bus for Shivling Pilgrimage Circuit in Pune
Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has inaugurated Tourist Bus Service No. 12, a fully air‑conditioned electric shuttle connecting major Shivling pilgrimage sites across Pune during Shravan. Launched on August 2, 2025, the route starts at Pune Station (8:30 AM), travels via Swargate to temples in Purandar Taluka, Saswad, Narayanpur and Baneshwar, and returns by 7:00 PM. Priced at ₹500 per passenger, it operates on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Goa Tourism wins Excellence Award for ‘Goa Beyond Beaches’
The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, concluded its participation at the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) Ahmedabad 2025 on a high note, receiving the Excellence Award for the Special Campaign on ‘Goa Beyond Beaches’. The recognition was presented at the Mahatma Mandir Convention & Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar, where the event was held from July 31 to August 2, 2025.
