Atlantic Park Surf, North America’s first Wavegarden Cove Surf Lagoon, has opened and bookings for the long-anticipated development are available to the general public at AtlanticParkSurf.com. Located in Virginia Beach, Atlantic Park Surf is the first lagoon of its kind to be incorporated into an urban environment. Powered by Wavegarden Cove, the system can generate up to 1,000 waves per hour and more than 20 types of waves, ranging from one to seven feet in height and tailored to beginners, intermediate, advanced and expert surfers.
Accor names Ranju Alex as CEO – South Asia
Accor has appointed hospitality veteran Ranju Alex as its new Chief Executive Officer for South Asia. Until recently, Alex served as Area Vice President – South Asia at Marriott International, where she managed operations across nearly 170 hotels in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. With close to three decades of industry experience, she began her career with The Oberoi Group, where she worked for 15 years before moving to Marriott in 2010.
