Larisa Hotels and Resorts eyes Himachal Pradesh for long term agreements
LaRiSa Hotels and Resorts has strengthened its presence in Himachal Pradesh with the signing of a long-term hotel management agreement for the centrally located Kanishka Hotel in Manali. The hotel will be relaunched under the AM Hotel Kollection brand as Kanishka, Manali – AM Hotel Kollection. A majority of the rooms offer scenic valley views, while others overlook the lush lawns. Post-renovation, all rooms will feature modern amenities, aesthetic interiors, and enhanced heating and cooling systems — complemented by an all-day restaurant and coffee lounge to elevate the guest experience.
India, China poised to Resume direct flights ahead of PM Modi’s landmark visit
India and China are set to resume direct passenger flights as early as September. An announcement is anticipated around Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s trip to China for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit at the end of August. Prior to the suspension, more than a dozen weekly direct flights between Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Kunming and Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata were offered by airlines such as Air India, IndiGo, Air China, China Southern, and China Eastern.
