“We are deeply grateful to our members for the faith they have placed in me and my team. It will be our sincere endeavour to support and empower our members to grow their businesses in a dynamic and competitive environment. A key priority for us is to work in close coordination with the Government to highlight the urgent need for aggressive international marketing and promotion of India as a travel destination. Foreign Tourist Arrival numbers have been going down and, in that backdrop, we strongly advocate for increased participation in overseas travel marts and roadshows, as well as the reinstatement of familiarization (FAM) trips for foreign tour operators, travel bloggers, and international media.”
