“It’s exciting to see the continued enthusiasm for travel to the U.S. and this week has cemented the fact that India is a fast-growing market with tremendous potential for growth in tourism. The good news is that the visa process is getting better. There has been a massive acknowled- gment of the issue. There are more consular staff now and the wait time has reduced considerably. There is a pent-up demand due to the pandemic. India is a country that has the most US visas issued worldwide other than Mexico. The embassy has said that they will issue more than 1 million visas this calendar year.”
