IATO highlights inbound tourism’s value as a foreign exchange earner and soft diplomacy tool, emphasizing the need for timely action before the upcoming tourist season begins.

IHG signs Holiday Inn Express in Pithampur, Indore
IHG Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Kevit Retreats to open a Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Pithampur, near Indore. Slated to open in Q1 2028, the hotel will be part of a large mixed-use development including industrial and logistics facilities. The project aligns with IHG’s focus on expanding into high-demand secondary markets and will cater to the growing number of business travelers in the region’s industrial and automotive hubs.
