
Air India, Booking.com partner to enhance travel booking experience
Air India has partnered with Booking.com to offer travellers an integrated booking experience through a dedicated co-branded platform on its website and mobile app. Customers can access Booking.com’s global accommodation inventory, while Maharaja Club members earn 5 Maharaja Points for every INR 100 spent on stays. The partnership also offers discounts of up to 15 percent on participating properties from June 22 to July 21, 2026, for Indian travellers online.
IHG Hotels & Resorts signs Holiday Inn Mathura
IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Embrassio Hotels & Resorts Private Limited, hospitality arm of Vrindara Group, to develop Holiday Inn Mathura, scheduled to open in early 2030. The 115-key hotel will feature three dining venues, five meeting and event spaces including a ballroom, fitness centre and swimming pool, catering to rising spiritual tourism and demand for branded accommodation in Mathura and nearby pilgrimage circuits market.
Kenya reaffirms Ebola-free status as tourism continues smoothly
Muthaiga Travel has reiterated that Kenya remains Ebola-free, with tourism and hospitality operations continuing seamlessly. The assurance follows regional concerns over Ebola outbreaks in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Kenya’s Ministry of Health has strengthened screening at entry points and tested all suspected cases negative. With around 80,000 travellers screened, authorities and tourism stakeholders remain confident of safely welcoming international visitors.
