General Travel New Zealand concludes 5-city India Roadshow
From June 30 to July 4, 2025, General Travel New Zealand successfully wrapped up its five-city India tour, which included stops in Jaipur, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bangalore. With 16 of New Zealand’s top travel agencies taking part, this year’s event had the biggest Kiwi presence to date. The delegation displayed a diverse range of travel experiences that were all connected by the Kiwiway Vacations FIT packages offered by General Travel.
Bintan Resorts & Travstarz Global boost India outreach with trade workshops
Bintan Resorts, in partnership with Travstarz Global Group, held trade workshops in Jaipur, Lucknow, and Indore from 11–13 June 2025 to strengthen its presence in India’s emerging outbound markets. Royal Orchid expands in Maharashtra with new hotel in Solapur
Royal Orchid Hotels (ROHL) has launched Regenta Central Shivani in Solapur, its fourth property in Maharashtra this year. Strategically located in the MIDC area with serene lake views, the 65-room Rajasthani-themed hotel caters to both business and leisure travellers. With amenities like a pool, spa, and gym, it also boasts Solapur’s largest common area, a 170-cover restaurant, poolside bar, banquet spaces, and proximity to iconic temples.
Emirates to launch Premium Economy on Kolkata route from July 18
Emirates is set to introduce its Premium Economy class on the Dubai–Kolkata route starting 18 July 2025, following positive response in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad. Passengers on flights EK573/572 can enjoy wider seats, enhanced legroom, curated dining, and 13.3-inch HD screens. The service includes a 35kg checked baggage and 10kg carry-on allowance. Flights will operate four times weekly – on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
