Skål International India signs landmark MoUs; National Congress 2026 announced
Skål International India has signed landmark MoUs with five leading travel exhibition organisers. The partnerships cover key B2B platforms including OTM, BLTM and TTF by Fairfest Media; SATTE by Informa Markets; ITB India by Messe Berlin; GPS by Global Panorama Showcase India; and IITM by Sphere Travel Media & Exhibitions. Skål International India has also announced its National Congress 2026 from August 12–14 at Le Méridien Coimbatore.
Sterling opens Valley of Pine, Lansdowne
Sterling Holiday Resorts has launched Sterling Valley of Pine, Lansdowne, a boutique mountain retreat near Gumkhal, Uttarakhand. Set amid dense pine forests, the resort marks Sterling’s ninth property in the state, strengthening its presence in the hill-and-forest circuit. Designed for unhurried getaways, workcations and intimate celebrations, the retreat features valley-view rooms, open terraces and signature venues for dining, social gatherings and leadership offsites.
FLY91 leases two Aircraft from TrueNoord
Regional airline FLY91 has inducted two aircraft under long-term operating leases from global regional aircraft lessor TrueNoord, supporting its measured fleet expansion. The first aircraft entered service in December 2025, while the second is set to begin operations in February 2026. One aircraft will be based in Goa and the other in Hyderabad, reinforcing FLY91’s dual-hub strategy and its focus on improving Tier-2 and Tier-3 connectivity.
Preferred Hotels & Resorts adds 21 new members globally
Preferred Hotels & Resorts has expanded its global portfolio with 21 new member properties in Q4 2025, strengthening its presence across Europe, Asia, the Americas and Africa. New additions span destinations including Denmark, Italy, China, Indonesia, the U.S. and Egypt, featuring experiences from a Copenhagen waterfront icon to the brand’s first luxury Nile cruise. To mark the expansion, I Prefer Hotel Rewards members can earn bonus points on eligible stays for a limited period.
