SriLankan Airlines introduces double daily flights to Mumbai
SriLankan Airlines has introduced double daily flights between Colombo and Mumbai, multiplying the convenience for passengers travelling to and from India’s financial and entertainment capital. The new double daily service to Mumbai will not only give a 50 per cent boost to SriLankan’s capacity on its Mumbai route but will also strengthen the airline’s already vast network in India.
Jazeera Airways unveils new social media platforms for India
Jazeera Airways, Kuwait based low-cost carrier recently hosted an event in Mumbai for social media influencers and travel agents to officially announce its new social media platforms for India. In a nod to planned expansion, the airline welcomed two additional aircraft in the last quarter, operating a fleet of 22 across its network. Jazeera also embraced sustainability, becoming the first Middle East low-cost carrier to switch to eco-friendly in-flight food service ware.
Air India appoints design firm HBA to enhance customer experience
Air India has appointed Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA), a world-renowned hospitality interior design firm, to refurbish AirIndia lounges at Terminal 3, Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi and Terminal 4 of JFK Airport in New York. This marks a significant milestone in Air India’s transformation plan to enhance customer experience at every step of the customer’s journey.
