IndiGo to add Ayodhya as its new domestic destination
IndiGo is delighted to add Ayodhya, in Uttar Pradesh, as the 86th domestic destination and 118th overall destination, in the 6E network. IndiGo will be the first carrier to operate from Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport in Ayodhya. The inaugural flight from Delhi will arrive in Ayodhya on December 30, 2023. Subsequently, commercial operations for a direct flight will commence between Delhi and Ayodhya from January 06, 2024.
Opening of Ramada by Wyndham Goa Vagator
M/s The Palace, a proprietary firm based out of Goa has announced the opening of Ramada by Wyndham Goa Vagator in partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. The Hotel offers quick access to Vagator Beach, which is less than a km from the hotel. It features 70 contemporary rooms, a lobby lounge, an all-day dining restaurant and bar, meetings and event spaces, a business centre, refreshing wellness areas, and an outdoor swimming pool.
Uzbekistan concludes its maiden India roadshow
The Central Asian Republic of Uzbekistan recently organised its maiden edition of India road show in Mumbai. The event was attended by leading India travel agencies based out of Mumbai. The road show was aimed at showcasing the diverse Uzbekistani tourism offerings to the Indian travel trade, boosting tour operators’ destination awareness and stimulate their interest in promoting Uzbekistan as an exciting tourism destination in the Indian outbound travel market.

SriLankan Airlines wowed the world’s travel trade with its latest Global Sales Conference, which concluded in Hambantota with some 200 of the airline’s top international agents and tour operators in attendance. SriLankan Airlines offered the international participants information on the operational plans of the airline during the programme as well as a glimpse into the spectacular vistas, wildlife, history, cuisine and culture that Sri Lanka offers.
