
Air India, Scoot seal interline pact to boost Asia-Pacific reach
Air India has entered a unilateral interline partnership with Scoot, expanding connectivity to over 60 destinations across Southeast Asia, North Asia, and Australia via Singapore. The agreement enables seamless access to unique points such as Macau, Labuan Bajo, Langkawi, Davao, Koh Samui and Phu Quoc. With Inter-Airline Through Check-In (IATCI), passengers flying from Delhi, Mumbai or Chennai can receive boarding passes for both carriers and check in baggage through to the final destination.
Goa–Israel Tourism dialogue advances; direct Tel Aviv flight under discussion
In a key meeting in Panaji, the Israel Ministry of Tourism (IMOT) and Goa’s Hon’ble Tourism Minister Shri Rohan A. Khaunte explored the possibility of a direct Tel Aviv–Goa air route. IMOT officials expressed growing traveller demand and interest in enhanced connectivity. Shri Khaunte welcomed the proposal, emphasising Goa’s commitment to supporting global partnerships and facilitating airline evaluations. Both sides also discussed hosting a tourism roadshow in Goa.
Cygnett & Wyndham announce two luxury Anamore Resorts in Rajasthan
Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has strengthened its partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts by signing two luxury properties under the Anamore Registry Collection by Wyndham. The 18-acre Pushkar resort will offer 288 rooms, vast banquet spaces, expansive lawns, and wellness at Blum Mudra by Ayurvayaas, opening in late 2026. The 25-acre Kukas, Jaipur resort will feature 150 rooms, 30,000 sq. ft. of banqueting, curated dining and premium outdoor event zones. It is slated to open in early 2029.
Le Méridien debuts in Navi Mumbai
Marriott Bonvoy has unveiled Le Méridien Navi Mumbai, marking the brand’s debut in the region. The hotel features 129 mid-century modern rooms with panoramic skyline views, a signature wire-mesh art installation, and wellness offerings including Tattva Spa, an outdoor pool and fitness centre. Diverse dining options include Hill View Café, Asian restaurant Mizuki, the European-style Tasse et Café, and the playful Le Scoop programme.
