Air India Express expands network to 58 destinations
Air India Express is expanding its footprint with the addition of Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, and Dehradun to its network. From September 1, 2025, the airline will operate twice-daily flights from Ahmedabad and Chandigarh to Bengaluru, followed by daily Dehradun–Bengaluru services from September 15. With these additions, the airline will serve 41 domestic and 17 international destinations across its 116-aircraft fleet. Introductory one-way fares start at ₹4,100.
Malaysia Airlines deepens India commitment with new routes
Malaysia Airlines has strengthened its commitment to India with new routes, increased frequencies, and fleet enhancements. At its Gala Dinner in Mumbai, the airline announced daily flights to Trivandrum from 1 December 2025, up from four weekly, and boosted Ahmedabad services to four weekly from 28 October 2025. The carrier also confirmed the rollout of its modernised A330neo fleet across select routes, with the entire Australia and New Zealand network operating the aircraft by early 2026.
Abu Dhabi airports report strong H1 2025 growth
Abu Dhabi Airports recorded robust growth in the first half of 2025, welcoming 15.8 million passengers, up 13.1% year-on-year. Zayed International Airport (AUH) contributed 15.5 million passengers, a 13.2% rise over H1 2024. Flight movements across the five airports reached 133,533, up 9.2%, with AUH alone handling 93,858 aircraft movements, an 11.4% increase. IndiGo is adding to this momentum by expanding routes from India’s Tier-2 cities.
ASPHL records net profit of INR 13 crore in Q1 FY26
Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Limited (ASPHL) has announced financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025. Revenue from operations stood at Rs. 154 crore in Q1 FY26, up 14% YoY, while Operating EBITDA was Rs. 45 crore, up 16% YoY. Net profit for the quarter was Rs. 13 crore. ASPHL achieved industry-leading occupancy of 92% in Q1 FY26, maintaining its leadership in the hospitality sector.
