
Little Andaman Pro 2026 to boost Surfing Tourism in Andaman & Nicobar
The Andaman & Nicobar Administration, in association with the Surfing Federation of India, is hosting the ‘Little Andaman Pro 2026’ from April 9–12 at Butler Bay Beach. The national championship will feature top surfers and SUP athletes competing across categories. With around 86 participants, including international competitors, the event marks a major push to position the islands as a hub for adventure and water sports tourism.

Leh Airport expansion strengthens connectivity, boosts Ladakh Tourism
in Leh have increased from eight to 18 daily services, improving connectivity ahead of the tourist season. The airport now connects Leh with key cities including Delhi, Mumbai and Srinagar. The expansion is expected to revive tourism and support local businesses. Upcoming events and infrastructure upgrades, including a new terminal, are set to further enhance visitor experience.
Etihad to launch Dhaka flights, boosting UAE–Bangladesh connectivity
Etihad Airways will launch a seasonal four-times weekly service between Abu Dhabi and Dhaka from June 26, 2026. Operated by a Boeing 777, the route will enhance passenger connectivity and cargo capacity between the UAE and Bangladesh. The move supports growing trade and travel demand across South Asia, with Abu Dhabi positioned as a key hub linking regional markets with global destinations through Etihad’s expanding network.
