Alliance Air launches first direct Delhi–Daman service
Alliance Air has launched the first direct air service between Delhi and Daman, with the inaugural flight flagged off on July 16, 2026, at NAMO Airport. Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu and Administrator Praful Patel attended the ceremony. Led by Amit Kumar and Alliance Air CEO Rajarshi Sen, the service is expected to boost regional connectivity, tourism, business access and economic opportunities across Daman and wider surrounding regions.
Goa Tourism invites visitors for Chikhal Kalo 2026
Goa Tourism will host Chikhal Kalo Festival 2026 from July 24 to 26 near Shree Devki Krishna Temple in Marcel. The celebrations will begin with an inaugural ceremony on July 24 at 6 pm, followed by a performance by National Award-winning vocalist Mahesh Kale at 7 pm. The monsoon festival recreates Lord Krishna’s childhood through mud games, devotional rituals and community participation, attracting devotees, travellers, cultural enthusiasts and photographers.
