Hong Kong Air Cargo begins freighter operations from Navi Mumbai Airport
Hong Kong Air Cargo has become the first international carrier to commence freighter operations from Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA). Operations began on August 16, 2026, marking a significant milestone for the airline, Aeroprime Group and NMIA. Aeroprime Group, Hong Kong Air Cargo’s Cargo GSSA in Mumbai, coordinated commercial, operational and regulatory efforts for the launch, strengthening international air cargo connectivity from India’s newest airport.
VFS Global launches Maharashtra’s first Model SRO in Pune
VFS Global, in consortium with WE Excel Software, has launched Maharashtra’s first Model Sub-Registrar Office in Pune, aimed at digitally transforming property registration. Inaugurated by Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on August 13, the centre offers streamlined processes, modern infrastructure and digital systems. The consortium earlier secured a five-year contract to establish 60 Model SROs across Maharashtra in phases, alongside existing government registration offices.
