
Accor strengthens luxury portfolio in India with Fairmont Rishikesh
Accor signed Fairmont Rishikesh, Himalayas, marking another milestone in the Group’s expansion of its luxury hospitality portfolio in India. Set to open in 2031 in the Shivpuri Range of Rishikesh, the upcoming resort will span across approximately 16 acres of pristine landscape, featuring 220 guestrooms, four dining venues, 3,000 square meters of event space, a spa, fitness centre, swimming pool and kids’ club. The expansion coincides with the ongoing increase in demand for luxury hospitality experiences in the Shivpuri-Rishikesh region.
Lemon Tree Hotels adds Madurai to its growing South India portfolio
Lemon Tree Hotels signed Lemon Tree Premier, Madurai, strengthening its footprint in Tamil Nadu. The property will be managed by Carnation Hotels. With this addition, the group’s portfolio in Tamil Nadu expands to eight properties. The hotel will feature 100 rooms, a restaurant, banquet facilities, meeting room, fitness centre and swimming pool. Designed to cater to business and leisure travellers, the property will offer a comfortable stay experience.
