Azerbaijan-India Roadshow for the travel trade will be held in Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai. The purpose of this event is to facilitate meetings of Azerbaijan and India travel key participants for exchanges of business opportunities and potentials in tourism. Meanwhile, there has been a very positive trend in arrivals from India for the period from January-June, 2019, registering an 80 per cent increase compared with the same period of 2018.
Keeping up with the job of staying active, Azerbaijan Tourism Board had participated in 2019 EPEX from June 27-29, which is an Experiential Planner event held in New Delhi representing its MICE and Wedding products to Indian counterparts. The FAM trip organized by Azerbaijan Tourism Board in June has already had effects on the websites of some of those agents which they showcase Azerbaijan as a tourism destination
Azerbaijan Tourism Board marked presence in the 7th Annual MICE India and Luxury Travel Congress 2019 in Delhi followed by Mumbai. The Azerbaijan Convention Bureau conducted FAM trip of MICE agents from Delhi. Hotels and infrastructure for corporate events and Azerbaijan traditional cuisine, traditions and historical were showcased to the guests.
